Small Business Saturday, November 25th

We are a small business and depend on shoppers like you to keep our doors open! Support small, support local year-round, but especially on Small Business Saturday.

We are open 10-4pm and will have complimentary wine as always!  Stop in and show your support, also shop our entire neighborhood where you'll find a coffeeshop, teahouse, bakery, pizza joint, a rock shop, diner, and many little boutiques just like ours.  Curious about our 'hood? Click this link. Otherwise, see you Saturday at Upshift located at 836 East Johnson Street.

Need more reasons to support small and local, check out these stats:

Stats from the Small Business Administration

Style Showdown

I choose a style, my merchandiser chooses a style.  We show it to each other and talk about it.  You get to choose which one you like better.  We will do a drawing for a free swap with people that comment with why they chose either my style (Lindsay, the owner) or his style (James, our merchandiser).

Watch our segment here! (it's our first one, I promise it's hilarious, and will get better once we do more).  Suggestions on a name for this segment?  Hit us with a cool name!

The blue dress was chosen by me and a cream chiffon skirt was chosen by James and because he can't ever do anything by the books he styled it 3 different ways.   Here are our styles:

Lindsay's style pick (obviously the best one)

James' pick (the skirt) styled with lace top

James' same skirt styled with a Golden Girls type sweater

James' skirt with a edgy sweater

Yo, this is important Upshift news

We love that Facebook is a platform to reach our loyal customers, however you may not know this (or maybe you do), but FB algorithms are making it harder and harder for businesses to organically reach their customer.  In fact, they have gone from 90% organic reach 5 years ago to 1% in recent, present times.  So, basically we work hard to put out quality content and it. does. not. reach. our beloved customer.

We're going old school 2007 and dedicating our energy back into our blog (this site).  The content is not policed, it's free, and you get everything you bargained for with Upshift; irreverent and amazing fashion information.  Please please please subscribe to us on this platform and you'll get raw, amazing content! Promise.

We will continue to put content on Facebook, but here is where you'll get the real deal!

Go forth and be fabulous!
