Private party at UpShift

We hosted a group of gals at the boutique on Friday and they brought in wine, tons of amazing duds, and endless laughs and great conversation.  They were all UpShift first-timers and it was obvious from the moment they arrived that they got the concept; load up with new duds and drink wine while laughing and socializing. I love connecting with our customer and getting to be a part of their experience (both at the boutique and life in general).

As the months and weeks have ticked by I've realized that the boutique has brought me more toward my life-goal of waking up each morning and living life the way I want to live it, and the bonus is that I have connected with the most amazing people that are doing the same thing.  I won't get too gushy or preachy so we'll leave it at that.  

Go forth and be fabulous and live your life the way you want to live it.  Every. Single. Day.

Armani at UpShift

This amazing find came in to UpShift a couple of weeks ago, sat on the rack unnoticed until....my fabulous friend Emily pointed it out and after a friendly game of try-on by all my friends it fit yours-truly.  

I love when we get in a gem like this (and to think it went unnoticed...imagine what else is out there?), I prefer when our amazing little pieces go to our fabulous customer, but I couldn't help myself.  Besides, I wear my clothes for a hot tick and they go back to UpShift.

Anyways, proof we get in amazing items every. single. day!

Nature's Pathway April 2014 Publication

Best. Find. Ever.

In my quest to switch my wardrobe over to 100% UpShift (Madison's only swap shop shameless plug) I scored this amazing handbag at our spring launch event last night!

My wardrobe feels more complete with this piece now in the mix.

I think it'll look fabulous with everything, especially on my arm with a vodka-water in hand.

It's all in the details: two-tone olive and chocolate brown, 100% leather, with gold metal detail. The olive tone is a sign I must indulge in a martini later today.

***Also, as someone that prefers to not eat meat I apologize for the real leather (my apology is the animal world, not the fashionistas that love leather)

Screw winter, it's spring at UpShift

Spring has sprung (in my mind).  This cold weather is ridiculous so I've been drinking mojitos (ok, total lie I've actually been drinking vodka with water, lemon juice, and a lime twist) and wearing bold colors and tanning to get over the winter blahs.

Here at UpShift we're doing the same thing....getting ready for spring.  We're hauling out all our backstock (seriously hundreds and hundreds...dare I say thousands...of new items!!!), hanging it Sunday, March 2 (not missing the Oscars) and getting it all ready to launch by March 6th.  We'll have a completely new store!!!
